I'm Johannes, a voice teacher and musician with a master's in jazz vocals from the Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. After nine years of intensive training at renowned academies in Germany and the Netherlands, I've taught at the SIRIUS Music School for two years, happily guiding students of every age on their musical journey. My lessons focus on developing your voice in an authentic, expressive way, whether you're into jazz, pop, rock, or improvisation. I tie solid vocal technique to body work like the Alexander Technique and the Feldenkrais Method, to give you a whole-body understanding of your voice. An empathetic learning space matters to me, one where you can unfold freely. I shape every lesson around your needs and goals, whether that's fundamentals, ear training, expression, or accompanying yourself at the piano. Singing connects you to your essence and your emotions, and that's exactly the connection I want to strengthen with you, so your voice, your presence, and your passion for music can grow.

For two years I've happily taught singing to all ages, and it brings me real joy to guide people and develop authentic voices. My lessons are built on my nine years of training in jazz and pop vocals at three different academies in Germany and the Netherlands. I also fold in methods from the Feldenkrais Technique and the Alexander Technique, which I use deliberately to build body awareness and healthy vocal technique. I shape every lesson around each student's needs and musical interests, from beginners to advanced. On request, I bring in self-accompaniment at the piano or guitar, plus elements of songwriting and performance.
