Six years ago I taught myself to play the ukulele, and I've been traveling the world ever since, sharing what I've learned along the way. My lessons center on a real balance of technique and expression, so you keep growing on your musical journey. I'm a patient, motivated teacher who shows up authentically with every student, and what matters most to me is sparking your joy in music, whether that's playing songs you love or learning chords and rhythm patterns. I've taught ukulele and vocals for several years to students of every age and experience level. In my lessons I put a lot of weight on individual coaching, tuning in to each learner's specific goals and interests. I draw on a range of methods to build both technical skill and musical understanding, and some of the most creative, motivating moments happen right where theory meets hands-on playing. Sharing my love of music and passing on what I know, so each person grows their own way, is what I love most.
