I'm a guitarist and a teacher who's still completely in love with passing music on, after more than 35 years of it. My path ran from classical guitar studies through sitar lessons in Varanasi to musicology and solo chamber music, and that range still shapes how I teach. At SIRIUS Music School my repertoire reaches from the Renaissance to the modern era, with a special love for the art of improvisation. My roots are in the classical tradition, but my approach is open and personal: after we get to know each other, we'll explore your skills together, listen to your favorite piece, and build a learning path made just for you. I tie technique, expression, and musical understanding to hands-on exercises that keep you motivated and steadily moving forward. I've taught guitar full-time since 1987, working with students of every age and level, from beginners to advanced players. My lessons are built on classical guitar fundamentals and cover a wide repertoire from the Renaissance to the modern era. I put special focus on developing solid technique and the art of improvisation. My approach is highly individual: after a first read on your skills, I shape lessons around your goals and musical tastes. My long experience lets me tune in to what each student needs and adjust the lessons to match.
