Hi, I'm Melissa! For me, music is the purest form of expression, a way to share emotions and tell stories. Over the last ten years I've turned that passion into my profession, singing professionally in pop, rock, and musical theater. At SIRIUS Music School I teach singing and bring my experience as a trained musical theater performer. My lessons go way past pure technique. I care that you don't just learn the basics, but build your own expression too. Together we'll work on your singing, from technique and rhythm to ear training, so you can interpret the songs you love in a way that's authentic and moving. I've taught singing and music theory for several years, for students of every age. My focus is solid vocal technique paired with growing your own artistic expression. I pick my methods based on each learner's background and goals. I also put real value on weaving in music theory for a well-rounded understanding of music. My experience spans beginners through advanced singers prepping for performances or exams.
