I've spent decades on stages, in studios, and on tour, and I've never stopped learning. I'm Holger, a guitarist, composer, and arranger at home in just about every musical style. I studied jazz, played musical tours across Europe, backed artists on world tours, and worked on countless studio projects. For several decades now I've taught teens and adults guitar, music theory, and composition with real passion. At the SIRIUS Music School I pass that knowledge on and help you reach your musical goals, at your pace and with your focus. My lessons cover every side of a musical education: technique, ear training, style, and the theory behind the music. I've taught guitar, music theory, composition, and arranging for several decades, to every age group, from kids and teens to adults. A big chunk of that came as a lecturer in music theory, composition, and arranging, where I taught a bachelor's program for over eleven years and built my own course material. I put a lot of weight on tying theory to plenty of hands-on practice and aiming every lesson at each student's own needs and goals. My approach is holistic: I link instrumental technique with ear training, style, and theoretical understanding so you find your own musical voice. Beginner or advanced, hobby or exam prep, I walk your individual path with you, backed by decades of teaching.
