I'm Margarita Maria, a pianist and music therapist with a deep passion for the piano and for teaching. My musical path led me from the Hochschule für Musik in Bogotá to my work today at the SIRIUS Music School, where I accompany children, teenagers and adults along their own musical journeys. It matters to me that lessons bring joy while your musical skills grow step by step – from your first scales and chords through to expressive playing. I love working with classical repertoire just as much as with modern pieces, and I always adapt my lessons to your personal wishes and your learning pace. I combine technique, expression and ear training with a relaxed atmosphere in which you can unfold musically. Whether you're just beginning or already bring some experience, together we'll shape lessons that motivate you and let you keep growing. I've taught piano for several years to children, teenagers and adults, guiding each of them individually along their musical path. My lessons are shaped around the personal needs and learning pace of every student. I place great value on keeping the joy of making music front and centre while musical skills develop step by step. My training in classical piano and my experience as a music therapist both feed into my teaching. I work with classical repertoire as well as pop music and adapt the content flexibly to my students' interests and goals.
