I'm Farid, and I've been teaching classical and electric guitar with passion for 37 years – what started as a hobby became my profession a long time ago. After years of practice I completed my training at the Bundesakademie Trossingen, and today I teach students of every age at the SIRIUS Music School, from children aged eight to adults. My lessons tie solid technique to musical expression: whether you're starting from zero, coming back to the instrument later in life, or want to accompany your favourite songs, I respond to what you want and keep the lessons varied so your motivation never fades. I care about a structured build-up that teaches you not just how to play guitar but also the connections behind theory, rhythm and chords. The guitar is so versatile – from classical pieces to pop, rock and funk – that the possibilities are endless. I've taught classical and electric guitar since 1989 and completed my teacher training courses at the Bundesakademie. My teaching experience spans students from age eight into adulthood – from beginner lessons and later starters through to advanced playing techniques. I place great value on lessons tailored to the individual, combining methodology, didactics and practical theory. My goal is to keep motivation alive through varied lessons and to give every learner something for life. I respond specifically to personal wishes, whether that's song accompaniment, classical repertoire or modern playing techniques. My many years of practical experience as a concert guitarist and composer feed directly into my teaching.
