I'm Markus, a passionate singer and instructor with over 30 years in music, and I get to share my love of singing every day. My career took me onto many stages as an opera and concert vocalist, but my heart beats just as much for coaching my students one on one. I teach at the SIRIUS Music School, and I've completed a three-year additional qualification as a state-certified breath, speech, and voice teacher, so I can target each person's specific needs. My lessons rest on solid technique that I pass on warmly and creatively, whether you want to learn poppy melodies, show-stopping musical numbers, or classical arias. It matters to me that you work on your voice with confidence and joy. I put real weight on expression and ear training, so you develop your own style and gently expand what your voice can do. I've taught singing and voice training for several years, working with a wide range of students. The focus is personal coaching, so each person's vocal abilities and musical tastes get the attention they need. I draw on different methods, from traditional breathing technique to modern singing styles. Beginners, advanced singers, adults: I help every learner discover and develop their own voice with joy. Genre takes a back seat here. The goal is for every student to have a positive experience with singing.
