I'm Meimouna, a singer and stage performer with a wide-ranging artistic career. My journey began with dance, I earned my bachelor's in Rotterdam, and ran parallel to vocal training, which quickly landed me in musical theater, where I'm still active on stage today. For a few years now I've also been training as a voice teacher at the Lichtenberg Institute for Voice Physiology, a somatic approach that enriches voice work in a uniquely body-aware way. I teach at the SIRIUS Music School and can't wait to share my knowledge and stage experience with you. My lessons live mostly in musical theater and soul/pop, but trips into jazz are on the table too. I put weight on healthy vocal technique, expression, and a personal way into your own voice. Whether in one-on-one lessons or workshops, teaching is a real gift for me, and I hope you can benefit from my hands-on stage experience and my ongoing work with voice physiology.

I teach singing and speech training in both one-on-one lessons and group workshops. My focus areas are musical theater and soul/pop, though I love taking trips into jazz and classical too. I'm currently finishing my training in the Lichtenberg voice-physiology approach, a somatic way of working that I deliberately fold into my lessons. My years of stage experience as a dancer and singer shape my hands-on teaching style. I put real weight on my students working with solid technique while also developing their own artistic expression.
