Anyone can press keys. I want to help you become a complete musician. I'm a pianist, composer, conductor, and music theorist with more than two decades in music, and I've been writing my own pieces since I was twelve, often performing them with my own baton in hand. Classical music is my great love, but I've gone deep into jazz, musical theater, pop, and electronic music too. At SIRIUS Music School I focus on piano, music theory, and composition. My lessons go way past mechanical playing: the goal is to make you a whole musician and open up your creative potential. I care about freedom of movement, playing with your whole body, and personal expression that doesn't stay inside narrow lines. I've taught piano, music theory, and composition for almost two decades, working with classical and modern students alike, at conservatories and in private lessons. My lessons are for all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced players who want to grow as artists. I care a lot about freedom of movement at the instrument, whole-body awareness while you play, and personal expression beyond rigid limits. I encourage students to build a solid grounding in theory and to express themselves through their own compositions, whether that's classical, electronic, pop, musical theater, or theater music. For me, theory and composition are one connected spectrum, so I tie them tightly together and love passing on my long experience as a composer and conductor.
