I'm Hannes, and I teach piano and composition at SIRIUS Music School with great passion. As a film and game composer, I work daily with the most diverse musical styles – from classical through jazz to electronic music. I'd like to bring this variety closer to you too and inspire you to discover music from new perspectives. My lessons are anything but standard: I take plenty of time to find suitable pieces for you that truly match your interests. Whether you want to build classical technique, understand chords and harmonies, improvise or compose your own music – I design the lessons so that you stay motivated and keep growing. In doing so I combine structured development with creative freedom: ear training, expression and practical applications are just as much a part of it as exploring your own musical ideas. My goal is for you not just to learn to play, but to truly understand music and shape it with joy.

I've been teaching piano and composition for six years, working with beginners as well as advanced students interested in film and media composition. My lessons are strongly hands-on and combine classical fundamentals with modern approaches from jazz, pop and film music. I place great value on selecting individually suitable pieces and putting my students' personal musical interests at the centre. Through my work as a composer for film and media as well as a pianist in various ensembles, I bring a wide range of stylistic perspectives into the lessons. On request I also integrate composition and improvisation elements to foster a creative understanding of music.
