I've been a musician since I first sat down at the piano at six years old, and that passion has stayed with me my whole life. I'm Stephan, and with 17 years of teaching experience in one-on-one and small-group lessons, both online and in person, I teach mainly piano and guitar at SIRIUS Music School. My approach is personal and hands-on: I tune in to your goals and wishes and prepare teaching material exactly to your needs. Whether you want to learn your first chords, discover improvisation, or broaden your stylistic range, I'll guide you step by step with deep knowledge of the instrument and the music theory that goes with it. My students usually stay with me for three to four years and move on with solid skills and a real grasp of technique, rhythm, and expression. Thanks to my training as a primary school teacher, I bring a solid pedagogical foundation that I tune to each student's goals and wishes. I prepare teaching material to fit each person's needs and care that musical understanding and the joy of playing go hand in hand. My lessons are for learners of every age, from kids to adults, across styles from classical through pop and rock to folk and improvisation.
