Hi, I'm Kathrein, a guitarist and educator with over 22 years of teaching experience. I held my first guitar at age five, and music has been with me on every path since. At the Trossingen Academy of Music I earned my teaching diploma and specialized further in solo guitar and chamber music. Today I teach at the SIRIUS Music School and work with students from 4 to 60, from the first chords to prepping for a music academy audition. Your goal is my goal: first I want to find out what draws you to the guitar or ukulele, what music you love, and who your role models are. Only then do I build the right path for you, whether that's classical technique, song accompaniment, or the famous campfire diploma. We stay in constant exchange, so you stay motivated and keep growing. I'm very patient and find ten different ways to get you over any musical or technical hurdle. It brings me real joy to guide your learning and pass on everything I've gathered.

I've taught guitar and ukulele for 22 years, to students from 4 to 60. My lessons are for both beginners and advanced players prepping for music academy auditions. I work very individually and tailor my teaching to your personal goals, tastes, and musical role models. My method puts real weight on constant exchange, and I always find different ways to master technical or musical challenges. My repertoire covers classical guitar, ukulele, pop song accompaniment, and the playful learning of chord accompaniment. With my solid training, including a teaching diploma and concert exam, plus ongoing study with renowned guitarists, I can pass on a broad musical expertise.
