I'm Jillian, an internationally performing opera singer and passionate music educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. As a soprano I'm regularly on major stages in Germany, the USA and the UK – in 2023, for instance, I sang the leading role of Marietta at the English National Opera in London. My subjects are voice and piano, and I teach at the SIRIUS Music School with an individual, empathetic approach. It matters to me that you feel comfortable and enjoy learning, because I'm convinced that with the right support you can reach your musical goals. My lessons tie solid technique to musical expression, breathing, body awareness and mental strength – everything that helps you grow as an artist. I've taught voice and piano for over 20 years and bring extensive practical stage experience as a professional opera singer into my lessons. Alongside classical vocal technique, my expertise includes the Alexander Technique, which I integrate deliberately into my teaching. I work with students at every level – from beginners through to advanced singers preparing for professional performances. My lessons are tailored to each person's goals and needs and take place in a positive, supportive atmosphere. I care in particular that my students feel comfortable and relaxed while they grow technically, musically and artistically. I work flexibly with different methodical approaches and meet everyone exactly where they are.
