I'm Juliane, a German-Portuguese soprano and singing teacher with over six years of teaching experience. My stage practice runs from opera houses in Madrid and Bern to international competitions in New York – and all of that feeds straight into my teaching. I teach at the SIRIUS Music School and love working with students on classical voice, musical theatre and pop; to me they're simply different ways of using our instrument. My approach is holistic: we work not only on technique and expression but also on breathing, stage presence and telling a story. The mental side matters to me in particular – how you handle stage fright and still sing convincingly when you're nervous. I'm convinced that everyone can sing, because we all have vocal cords and a body. My lessons adapt to you individually, because no single method works the same for everyone. If you're multilingual or working in another language, I'm happy to coach you on diction and text too – in six languages.

I've taught singing for over six years across classical, musical theatre and pop, and I also prepare students for entrance auditions and performances. My teaching is built on years of stage experience at various opera and concert houses and combines technical work with the mental side of performing, such as handling stage fright. I work very individually and draw on different methodical approaches as needed, bringing in breath, body, presence and storytelling. I enjoy teaching learners at every level – from beginners through to advanced singers who want to develop in a targeted way. I also offer coaching in six languages, which is especially helpful when working on diction and text.
