I'm Volker, and since 2005 I've been bringing people of every age closer to the joy of guitar and piano – online since 2013. My own musical journey began early: the melodica at five, the guitar at 13, and later the piano at the Frankfurter Musikwerkstatt. That range still shapes my teaching today. I teach at the SIRIUS Music School and combine practical experience with structured learning. My focus is acoustic guitar and piano – from your first chords and strumming patterns through to harmony, rhythm and expressive playing. And I meet you exactly where you are. Pop, rock or soul, we work with the songs that excite you. Through years of stage experience and work with international names in music, I know how music really works and comes to life. My strength is empathy: together we analyse your goals and build an individual, creative learning path that moves you forward with joy.

I've taught guitar, piano and drums since 2005 and have worked with a broad range of students, from beginners to advanced players. My focus is acoustic guitar and piano, and stylistically I work across pop, rock, soul and Schlager. Since 2013 I've concentrated on online teaching, and over that time I've perfected modern digital teaching methods that allow maximum progress even at a distance. My lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you want to learn your first chords, play your favourite songs or deepen your musical understanding. I place great value on technique, joy of playing and musical understanding going hand in hand. Thanks to decades of experience as a musician and technician, I can show you how songs are really built and how to make them sound authentic.
