From $29 upward our teaching is priced, and an opening lesson without a fee stands ahead of that. That is a floor and not a flat charge, since a first-time singer and someone preparing a set do not need the same hour. We name one figure and we name what it opens, and the two do not come apart. The amount edges up with what you need, and what you get for it is described in the same line.
The appointment you made gets moved, not cancelled. The enrollment form of the Delta Blues Museum Arts and Education Program pairs the weekdays, Mondays and Tuesdays for one level and Wednesdays and Thursdays for the other two, which leaves little room when a week goes wrong. A lesson booked with us is rescheduled. Granted that a gap costs a little momentum, the next sitting sheds no ground already covered.
We set no ceiling on age and no floor either. The museum's 2022 enrollment form attaches 18 and over to its adult rate and a county to the other, which is two different kinds of boundary on one sheet, and a separate line lets in children six or younger. The city lists seven music houses, and five of them sit at addresses that resolve inside the city line: Reds Lounge on Sunflower Ave., Ground Zero Blues Club on Delta Ave., The New Roxy on Issaquena Ave., Levon's Restaurant & Bar on Sunflower Ave. and the Hambone Art & Music Gallery on E 2nd St. Ground Zero opens Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., with 8:00 p.m. given as the hour the music starts. The Sunflower River Blues & Gospel Festival, run by a nonprofit of its own name, is set for August 6 to 8, 2027 in downtown Clarksdale, with no admission charged.
The Delta Blues Museum Arts and Education Program takes Coahoma County students and adults from 18 upward, and the museum admits children aged 6 and under without a ticket. Each of those is a boundary drawn on a form. A SIRIUS lesson has no such line in it, and is built around the voice that turns up. The lesson in hand leaves off wherever the singer's voice does.
The Delta Blues Museum opens Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with last entry at 4:30 p.m., and closes on eight named days in the year. The museum's enrollment form books those classes into a late-afternoon pair of hours, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and names no second window beside it. A lesson booked with us goes where the week still has room. The appointment you made tightens around the week rather than the week around it.
The museum's enrollment form asks the signer to read the class curriculum and rules and to agree to pay the appropriate participation fee, with no date attached to the promise. Booking a lesson with us asks for a time. Beside a curriculum and a rulebook, that is a short way in. Whoever put the date down doubles up two things, a name and an hour, and stops there.
Across this town the published figure tends to sit still while the label beside it moves: three amounts across five museum admission lines, one amount across two lengths of enrollment. The house that prints those lines is governed by a five-member board appointed by the Mayor and Board of Commissioners, which is a third body again.
