SIRIUS puts a lesson at no charge in front of the paid ones, and the paid ones start at $29. The college contract that had run since 2005 ended on June 30, 2025, and the college has operated on its own since July 1, 2025. A price that begins somewhere and then depends on how much you book is the kind that survives a change of that sort. The lesson itself latches onto the date you set and reports back on it. The starting figure answers the question of entry.
The equipment the concert association gave the district is bound to a purpose in the sentence that records it: the theater arts program of the district. So a piano that arrived as payment for a room ends up inside a course, and the two uses are written as one line. The phrase "cannot sing" usually covers a tuning that slides, a line that stops short, or a change of gear that the ear catches. The plan on the page, your coach re-times whenever the difficulty moves. The complaint returns to a named place in a named bar.
The college fee table names an age and then withdraws the charge attached to it, since the In-state Age 55+ column reads $0. Its 15+ row reads $1,470, $2,205, $0, $735 and $1,050, and the scale stops there. The student makes room for the songs they actually want at whatever age those arrive. A fee table borrows age as its variable, while the voice in the room supplies its own.
Two concerts a year at the choral society stand beside eight at the concert association, in the same hall. One body fills a season; the other marks two points inside it. For getting out of town there is one line worth printing: no schedule is published. Payson sits in Gila County, and the federal delineation gives that county its own statistical area, CBSA 37740, with Gila County as its single member. The lesson itself stipulates what the next lesson asks of you. An afternoon start draws the line through a season otherwise set after dark.
The Payson Choral Society sets out its own order: rehearsals on Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Mount Cross Lutheran Church, 601 E Arizona Highway 260, with auditions at 5:30 p.m., an hour before the first rehearsal. That puts the sorting ahead of the singing, in one evening and one room. Around a single voice, your coach wants the pieces you want to sing and begins from them. The society breaks off its own Monday pattern in the four weeks before a concert, adding Friday rehearsals, and it says so in print.
The Payson Choral Society gives the measure of its own music in a single phrase: 4- to 8-part harmony. One voice is measured by other things: tuning, the air that reaches the end of a line, the shift of gear between registers, and reading. What the next sitting needs ready, your coach hands up before you close the window. An eight-part texture rules out the single line a first lesson works on.
The choral society rehearses in a Lutheran church and performs in a school district hall, and the church names no choir of its own, so the society sings there as a guest. Rehearsal room, performance hall and association are three separate bodies in that chain; SIRIUS shortens it to one listener, one singer, and a first lesson with no fee attached. The coach you were matched with hauls in the plan written down from the sitting before. Three owners settle one evening between them, and that works well enough while still taking three calendars.
The 2026-2027 fee table of Gila Community College heads five price columns: Arizona Resident; Out-of-state Non-resident; In-state Age 55+; Out-of-state Age 55+; High School Dual Enrollment. One of those columns, the third, reads $0 in each of the seventeen rows. Your matched coach foregoes a fixed day and keeps the day that suits you. Which of the five columns trails your own case, when the table asks for an age, a state and an enrollment?
The Payson Choral Society puts two concerts in a year, a Holiday Concert in December and a Spring Concert in the April following, and the spring one carries solo performances by students who have received its scholarships. Community Presbyterian Church at 800 W Main St lists Choir Practice at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and its service at 10:30 a.m., which leaves the practice thirty minutes. Payson United Methodist Church at 414 N. Easy Street lists a Choir Rehearsal at 2:30 p.m. on a Monday and a Grace Notes Handbell Rehearsal at 5:30 p.m. the next day, and keeps its Grace Notes Handbell Choir as a group of its own.
The college catalog leaves something out: of its five music courses, four are named instrumental ensemble and the fifth is Music Appreciation, with no voice or choir course among them. The Town of Payson comes at the same question from the other side. It runs its own summer series in Green Valley Park at 1000 W. Country Club Drive on Saturdays from 7 to 9 p.m., and there the trade in equipment is unnecessary, because the town owns the park it plays in; no admission price is published for it either. The music school notices the single bar that trips you and works there. A catalog narrows the question to instruments, and that is a real limit without being the whole of what the town offers.
The town lists seven Saturdays for that series in 2026: 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, 7/18 and 7/25. One Saturday inside the span carries no concert, July 4, and the gap is stated by absence, while the list adds no line about it. The student demands the plan on the page, and it stays there between sittings. Which date unties itself from that pattern, when a gap in the list does the announcing?
The concert association prices a single ticket at $25, drops it to $20 once you pick four shows, and sells the season of eight for $140. One show $25, four shows $20 apiece, eight shows $140: the discount hangs on quantity and on no other variable. The date you chose, the music school writes down beside what you did on it. A season ticket closes the gap between the first show and the eighth.
Payson is an incorporated town in Gila County with 16,693 residents at the Census count of July 1, 2025, governed by a common council of seven that picks its mayor from among its own members. If you want to know what the hall costs, the answer is not a figure: it is a piano, a set of speakers, and a line about contributions to a theater arts program. Your coach enters what the next sitting needs into the plan before you log off. An object handed over once overtakes a rent paid monthly, and the hall prices neither in money.
