An 1894 warehouse built for McCormick reapers now holds 95,000 square feet of theater, classrooms, galleries and artist studios at 1001 South 6th Street. The PACE Children's Choir asks 75 dollars per child and states that scholarships are available, with auditions on a published Saturday morning. Out at 2700 College Road, Iowa Western fields a concert choir, a show choir, a jazz choir, a men's ensemble and a community women's chorus. Between a nine-year-old and a college sophomore sits everybody else in a city of 62,680, and each of them is matched with a coach individually rather than slotted into a class.
Metro Transit publishes its Council Bluffs route and its full fare table online, and no clock time at all on the route page itself. Planning a weeknight rehearsal around that route therefore means a phone call to Metro Transit rather than a printed departure. A lesson at the address where you already are asks for no reservation, no parking and no margin for weather.
