The Cleveland Orchestra is traditionally counted among the American ensembles known as the "Big Five," and has been based at Severance Music Center on Euclid Avenue since 1931; the main auditorium there was named the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Concert Hall in 2021. Each summer the orchestra moves out to Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls. For a learner that proximity is practical, not decorative: the repertoire you are working through gets played live a few miles from your bench.
On East Boulevard, the Cleveland Institute of Music is an All-Steinway School, with 176 Steinways across campus and piano degrees from the bachelor's through the DMA. When the old instrument is sound, restoring it is usually money well spent. When it is not, buy a digital with the full 88 keys, a genuine weighted hammer action and a sustain pedal; skimp on any of those three and the technique you build will not transfer. One local detail matters either way: winters here are long and lake-driven, indoor air runs dry for months, and an acoustic drifts out of tune faster than expected.
